VANCOUVER ISLAND

I grew up in Victoria, BC on the magical Vancouver Island in a paddling family. This means I've been in and around kayaks since my first memories. 

I've guided and paddled on the West Coast for years, raced flatwater when I was thirteen, gotten into whitewater in the last few years, and just completed a seven month, 6500 kilometer kayak trip with my brother from Brazil to Florida. 

 

I work seasonally as a ski patroler in the winters and some sort of guide/outdoor educator in the summers. At the moment I'm in the shoulder season between just finishing work at Mount Washington Alpine Resort, and starting work at Strathcona Park Lodge this summer.
